Community Guidelines

How we keep ChaTrivia rooms welcoming, fair and fun.

Last updated: 2026-10-13

Our promise

Every player deserves rooms that are welcoming, fair and fun. These guidelines apply everywhere — public rooms, private rooms, chat and profiles.

Be decent to each other

  • Treat every player with respect, especially newcomers.
  • No harassment, hate speech, discrimination or personal attacks — ever.
  • Banter is welcome; cruelty is not. If you would not say it across a pub table, do not type it.

Keep it clean and safe

  • No spam, scams, phishing or links to harmful content.
  • No sharing personal information — yours or anyone else's.
  • No sexual content or solicitation; ChaTrivia is a trivia platform.
  • Respect that players of many ages and backgrounds are in the room.

Play fair

  • No cheating tools, answer bots or external lookups during live play.
  • No collusion between accounts or rooms.
  • One person per account.

What happens when guidelines are broken

Moderators may warn, mute, restrict or permanently ban accounts depending on severity and history. Serious offences (hate speech, threats, exploitation of minors) result in immediate permanent bans and, where appropriate, reports to authorities.

Thank you

The magic of ChaTrivia is its community. These guidelines exist so that magic survives growth. Thanks for keeping the arena a place worth coming back to.
