What is ChaTrivia?
ChaTrivia is a live social trivia platform. Players join real-time trivia rooms, answer questions against a shared clock, chat with other participants, earn and spend coins, and climb leaderboards.
Is ChaTrivia free?
Yes. ChaTrivia is free to play in your browser. An optional ChaTrivia Plus plan skips in-room ad breaks and unlocks extras such as unlimited chat and private room hosting. Plus never affects scoring or fairness.
Do I need to install anything?
No. ChaTrivia runs entirely in your browser at app.chatrivia.live on desktop, tablet and mobile. Native iOS and Android apps are launching soon.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Jump into public rooms together, or — with ChaTrivia Plus — create a private room and share the invite. Friends can join that session with the invite even if they are on the free plan.
How do rewards and coins work?
You spend coins to submit answers. You earn coins from a signup bonus, rewarded ads, daily drops, finishing a session, inviting friends, and optional coin packs in your Wallet. See the Rewards page for details.
What is ChaTrivia Plus?
Plus is the paid subscription. It skips in-room ads (you still pause with the room), unlocks unlimited chat, private room hosting, premium gifts, daily coins and advanced stats. It does not buy wins.
Is there an age requirement?
ChaTrivia is for players aged 18 and older.
How do I report inappropriate behaviour?
Tap the report button in any room or message us via the contact page. Our moderation team reviews every report and our Community Guidelines apply at all times.
Can I host my own trivia events?
Plus members can create private rooms and invite friends. Broader community event hosting with custom questions is planned.
How do I reset my password or delete my account?
Use the "Forgot password" link on the login screen, or contact us via the contact page for account changes including deletion.
